Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel

Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel offers a beautiful and romantic setting for a marriage proposal, with its elegant landscaped gardens and historic Georgian architecture. The highlight is the charming garden temple, a classical architectural feature set within the grounds that creates a picturesque and intimate focal point for the big moment.

Surrounded by greenery and overlooking the garden landscape, the temple provides a timeless backdrop for a bespoke proposal setup. It can be styled with elegant floral arrangements, candles and carefully chosen décor to create a romantic atmosphere, while its distinctive architecture makes the setting particularly beautiful for photographs.

After the proposal, you can continue celebrating with a meal at the hotel, enjoy a relaxing spa experience or stay overnight in one of its luxurious rooms. The venue combines a memorable outdoor proposal setting with everything needed for a special celebration together.

Permission to decorate and use the temple for a private proposal would need to be confirmed with the hotel in advance, along with a suitable alternative in case of poor weather.
