Slaley Hall

Slaley Hall is an impressive Edwardian country house hotel nestled in the heart of Northumberland, surrounded by approximately 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside. With its grand architecture, sweeping lawns and peaceful woodland setting, the hotel offers an elegant and romantic backdrop for a marriage proposal.

The grounds feature picturesque gardens and a hidden Japanese garden, creating lovely settings for a romantic moment and beautiful photographs. The historic mansion provides a striking backdrop, while the surrounding greenery adds a sense of privacy and tranquillity. A bespoke proposal setup with elegant floral arrangements and carefully styled décor could complement the natural surroundings beautifully.

After the proposal, you can celebrate with a special meal at Hadrian’s Brasserie, enjoy drinks together in one of the hotel’s bars or unwind with a relaxing spa experience. An overnight stay in one of the hotel’s comfortable rooms would make it easy to turn the occasion into a romantic countryside getaway.
